Interscript Team 2018–2019
Emma is thrilled to be this year's Project Editor for Interscript. Her previous journal experience includes her work as both Assistant and Managing Editor of the University of Birmingham Student Law Review. She is ready to expand her experience and to publish some forward-thinking research on publishing. Her areas of interest include IP, authorship, diversity in publishing and proper apostrophe usage.
Rose is excited to be part of this year’s Interscript team as an editor. She is particularly interested in entrepreneurship and innovation, young adult literature, and translation.
Jessica is excited to be commissioning and editing articles as part of this year’s Interscript team. Her interests include innovation in contemporary publishing, permissions and intellectual property, bookselling, and literature in translation.
Eleanor is an editor for Interscript, and is looking forward to gaining experience in academic publishing. She is particularly interested in commissioning and editing pieces surrounding diversity and inclusivity.
Charisa is excited to be working as an editor for Interscript this year. She has previously worked in trade publishing and as the Prose Editor for West 10th, a student-edited literary journal at New York University. She is extremely interested in new developments in children’s fiction, inclusivity in publishing, and the #diversevoices movement.
Peter has some experience on student-run journals from his time as an undergraduate, and he is hoping to help Interscript have its best year yet. He is interested in helping excellent writers put forth their new and unusual perspectives.
Xueni is very excited to join the Interscript team this year and work as a proofreader. Apart from academic and journal publishing, she is also interested in comics as well as children’s books. She hopes to help deliver high-quality articles for everyone
Marketing & Communications
Veidehi is looking forward to contributing to Interscript's marketing team. She is particularly enthusiastic about non-fiction and academic publishing. She is keen to develop her marketing skills and contribute to the success of Interscript.

Martina is a member of the Marketing team of Interscript. She is curious and passionate. Her main interest in publishing concerns representation and adaptations: particularly, how different versions of the very same text can target different people. She firmly believes that publishing ultimately can make someone feel less alone.
Typesetter & Website Manager
Edward Bowes is Interscript's resident technophile, and will be managing the production and typesetting of the journal alongside the upkeep of Interscript's website. He has previously worked to commission academic texts for the legal sector, and has a particular interest in the applications of AI and Big Data in Publishing.
