Interscript Journal

Please ensure your article adheres to the following guidelines and house style before submitting to the Journal:

  • Articles should be between 3,000 – 5,000 words.

  • Inclusion of tables, figures, illustrations and/or photographs is encouraged.

  • Submissions should include:

    • An abstract of 100 – 200 words (including research aim, methodology and conclusion).

    • 5 SEO keywords.

    • A short vita of the author of a maximum of 100 words in a separate document. ORCID, ResearchGate or social media account details are welcome.

  • All manuscripts must be written in English, in a clear, academic language, and be submitted as an Open Office, Microsoft Word or RFT document file. They should be formatted in accordance with our house style (see bullets below), suitable for a double-blind review process.

    • Times New Roman or Arial font.

    • 12 pt font size.

    • Single-spaced.

    • Where applicable, include a table of contents, table of figures or any other tables.

    • The document should not include any reference to the author, institution or any other attribute that reveals the author’s identity. This ensures that the double-blind review process can be carried out effectively.

    • Illustrations, figures and tables should be placed within the text at appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Contributions must be original and not under consideration for publication in other journals. Interscript will conduct a full plagiarism check. All articles must be referenced using footnotes according to the MHRA Style Guide, with a full bibliography at the end of the articles.

Interscript Online Magazine

The following guidelines should be taken into consideration when submitting an article to the Online Magazine:

  • Articles must be between 800 – 1,200 words

  • They can include tables, figures, illustrations and/or photographs

  • All articles must be in English

  • Submit articles via email (see address below) as an Open Office, Microsoft Word or RFT document file format, formatted in the following style:

    • Single-spaced

    • 12 pt font size

Submissions must not be duplicates of previously published material. If any references are required, please include the URL of your source.
