Submission Guidelines

Interscript Online Magazine

The following guidelines should be taken into consideration when submitting an article to the Online Magazine:

  • Articles must be between 800 and 1,200 words
  • They can include tables, figures, illustrations, and/or photograph
  • All articles must be written in English
  • They should be submitted via email (see address below) as an Open Office, Microsoft Word, RFT, or WordPerfect document file format, formatted in the following style:
    • Single-spaced
    • 12 pt font size
    • Italics for emphasising
    • Underlining for URLs

Submissions must not be duplications of previously published material. If any references are required, please include the URL of your source.

Interscript Journal

The following guidelines should be taken into consideration when submitting an article to the Interscript Journal:

  • Articles must be between 2,000 to 8,000 words.
  • Contributions can include tables, figures, illustrations and/or photographs.
  • Submissions should include:
    • An abstract of 100–200 words (including research aim, methodology, and conclusion)
    • 5 keywords
    • A short vita of the author of a maximum of 100 words in a separate document. ORCID, Researchgate, or social media account details are welcome.
  • All manuscripts must be written in English, in a clear, clinical language, and be submitted in Word or Richtext format. They should be formatted in a standard style (see bullets below), suitable for a double-blind review process.
    • Times New Roman or Arial font
    • 12 pt font size
    • Single-spaced
    • Italics for emphasising
    • Underlining for URLs
    • Where applicable, include a table of contents, table of figures, or any other tables
    • The content document must not include any reference to the author, their institution, or any other attribute that reveals the author’s identity. This ensures that the double-blind review process can be carried out effectively.
    • Illustrations, figures, and tables should be placed within the text at appropriate points, rather than at the end

Contributions must be original and not under consideration for publication in other journals. Interscript will conduct a full plagiarism check. All articles must be referenced using the Vancouver referencing style, with a full bibliography at the end of the articles.
